Dr. Weinert is a Master Surgeon in the treatment of Hyperpronation and member of the Graham International Implant Institute.
He is one of a few certified surgeons in the state of Michigan that perform the state of the art, minimally
invasive treatment utilizing the Hyprocure sinus tarsi stent/implant to alleviate pain in the foot, ankle, knee, hip,
back, shoulders and neck.
Dr. Weinert also specializes in a new state of the art treatment for neuropathy in diabetic and non-diabetic patients
whom have burning or tingling sensations in their feet and who don't get rest at night because of the pain and discomfort
they are experiencing. Dr. Weinert performs a minimally invasive nerve decompression procedure with possible adjunctive
procedure in the foot if the patient has a condition called hyperpronation, which is known to attribute to nerve
irritation and compression. This procedure helps to eliminate the pain and potentially restore sensation to numb feet
associated with the neuropathy.
Dr. Weinert specializes in treatment of all foot and ankle disorders in children as well as adults. He believes
in providing his patients with the most up to date state of the art treatments available. In addition, he finds
it important to spend time with his patients and educate them on their condition so they understand in lay terms.
He also has a state of the art digital casting system which is designed from NASA and MIT technology
and provides 100% accurate custom made orthotics.

(formerly Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital), St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospital, DMC Surgery Hospital, Mount Clemens Regional Hospital,
William Beaumont-Troy Hospital, William Beaumont-Grosse Pointe Hospital.
Dr. Weinert received a perfect (100%) score on his Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction and was honored for his accomplishment.
Dr. Weinert is also a team consultant for various high school, collegiate, and professional teams in the Metro Detroit area.
Dr. Weinert is the Chief of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Henry Ford Macomb-Warren Hospital and is also very active
in podiatric surgical resident training.
